Pappy told me (Peter Newcombe) that his granddfather's death foretold to him when he was walking home one evening and an owl was supposed to have spoken to him and said "You're wanted"; more likely one of Pappy's tales.
Burial*after 7 April 1885Ilfracombe, Devon, England, United Kingdom of Great Britain, 51.205475,-4.127343;Pappy told me (Peter Newcombe) that a lot of the Knills were upposed to be buried in the cemetery near Ilfracombe Zoo? I think he meant Marlborough Road Cemetery as that is near where the old zoo used to be until the 1960's at the junction of Marlborough Road and Worth Road.
